Dr. Benjamin Liu is a legal expert in artificial intelligence law, insolvency law, and financial markets law. He has a PhD in law, is a qualified solicitor in New Zealand and in England and Wales, and has completed all three exams in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Programme. He previously worked at international law firms and banks. He is now a Senior Lecturer in Commercial Law at the University of Auckland Business School, a Member of the Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association New Zealand (RITANZ), and an Honorary Fellow of the Asian Institute of International Financial Law. He frequently appears in the media and speaks at academic, industry, and public events on issues at the intersection of finance, technology, and law.

Kelly Zou is a CA ANZ–Chartered Accountant and Certified ERP and Payroll consultant. She delivers high-quality financial system solutions, including implementing and configuring ERP systems to meet complex reporting requirements. Kelly advises on best-practice financial processes, trains end users and finance teams, and manages data migration, validation, and reconciliation during system implementations. She also provides training on financial reports, tax reports, PAYE/PAYG, GST, and budgets across New Zealand and Australia.
